Last Day/Night !

On our last day working with YSOP, my team went to Trinity Lutheran Church. Once we got there,we immediately went to work cutting up potatoes, putting onions in bags, sweeping, and stocking shelves. While we were there, we helped prepare a meal, dye easter eggs, and then help clean up afterwards.One of the most interesting facts I learned was that their most helpful donations come from school drives. CHIPS !

Food Bank of New York City!

Day 1 – New York

Day 1 of New York City was a success, we got to see Times Square (AMAZING) and the 9/11 memorial site. The 9/11 memorial site today was a GREAT experience but it was also very heart breaking to actually see all the names of the people who lost their lives due to such a tragedy. It [more…]

We Made It !

We finally made it to NEW YORK CITY ! After 2 delays and a semi snow storm we FINALLY made it Looking forward to the rest of this trip.
