|Welcome back, faculty! This year it’s all about Flexible Learning! Campus courses, blended courses, and online courses are all various delivery methods that can be incorporated. Pedagogy, learning environment, and technology are all components of these delivery methods.
The Learning & Teaching Center (LTC) is ready to support Northwest faculty as we begin this new semester for fall 2020. In support of our flexible learning initiative this fall, the LTC has offered headsets to all faculty along with access to a Zoom license account. If you have not picked up a headset or do not have your Zoom license, contact our office at email@example.com or call x1532. We are also providing for all faculty a video camera with two mics. Please drop by to get these if you have not already done so. If you are looking for a way to track seating in your classrooms for this fall, check out a couple of possibilities: Mega Seating Plan or Photo Roster available in Northwest Online under Settings.
During the summer, we have been planning our road map for this next year. Along with a new slate of workshops and activities for our faculty professional development series, we will continue with our Learning & Teaching Academy. All of our workshops will be offered both in-person at OL 250 and via Zoom. You can register for workshops at our Workshop Registration Tool. The LTC has sent out a list of conferences available in the online format a few of which are free to attend.
