Fall Classic at Arrowhead XI

The 11th edition of the Fall Classic at Arrowhead will take place Saturday, Oct. 13 at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium. Please note that kickoff is set for 4 p.m. This year, Northwest will be the home team and occupy the southwest sideline.

We need Bearcat fans in the stands to make Arrowhead a distinct home field advantage for the Green and White. If you have not purchased your tickets yet, there is still time. Tickets are available for purchase in person at the Student Services Center on campus, online here until the end of the day on Oct. 11 or on the day of the game at Arrowhead Stadium.

The parking lots will open at 1 p.m. and Northwest fans can park in lots A, B, C, D and L. Please enter through gates 2, 3 or 4 on the east side of the Truman Sports Complex. The gates to enter the stadium will open at 2:30 p.m.

Will Call tickets can be picked up near the main ticket office at Founder’s Plaza, located on the northwest side of the stadium.

Northwest Night at Power and Light

The night before the big game, Northwest Missouri State University fans are invited to a Bearcat Pep Rally beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12.

The free event, sponsored by the Northwest Alumni Association, will be at the KC Live outdoor, covered courtyard of Kansas City’s Power and Light District. For a map of the area, click here.

The family-friendly event will have plenty of Northwest giveaways and is open to fans of all ages.

Bobby Bearcat, the Northwest Steppers and cheerleaders as well as members of the Bearcat Marching Band will be in attendance. The program on the KC Live stage, which begins at 7 p.m., will include performances by these groups and remarks from Northwest President Dr. John Jasinski and Athletic Director Wren Baker. Northwest alum and the vice president of University Advancement Mike Johnson will serve as the pep rally’s emcee.

Northwest Tailgate Party

Fans are invited to the Northwest Alumni Association’s tailgate festivities, beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Arrowhead Pavilion, located on the southwest corner of the stadium. Food and beverages can be purchased at the tailgate, and there will be performances by the Northwest cheerleaders and Steppers, the Bearcat Marching Band and Bobby Bearcat.
