Many Family Weekend activities are planned for Northwest students, families, alumni and friends of the University. Below is a complete listing of activities. We hope to see you this weekend.
Saturday’s big event is the Bearcat football game against Northeastern State University. Kickoff for Saturday’s game is at 2:30 p.m. This year’s game will include recognition of the 2012 Alumni Award recipients as well as halftime introduction of the Northwest Family of the Year.
The Hy-Vee Bearcat Zone, Northwest’s tailgate area prior to all home football games, gets under way at 12:30 p.m. in the Raymond J. Courter College Park Pavilion. Meals will be available for $6.50.
Don’t miss a single play!
If you can’t make the game or a watch party, catch the play-by-play action through the Bearcat Radio Network or the online internet webcasts or purchase live video streaming through B2 Networks and the MIAA.
The game will also be televised on the MIAA Broadcasting Network. It will be carried live on Suddenlink Channel 19 in the Maryville and St. Joseph areas, KSMO Channel 62 in the Kansas City area as well as several cable systems throughout the MIAA’s geographical footprint, including Cox Kansas Cable system, Cablevision in St. Joseph, Eagle Communications in Kansas, and Mediacom cable systems in Springfield, Columbia and Jefferson City.
