What advice would you give to incoming freshmen?

Get out of your room and get involved.  There are endless opportunities at college.  Getting involved is not just a way to build resume but a way to make lifelong friends.  I know I have met some outstanding individuals that I know call friends and I would not have met them if I hadn’t taken a chance to gotten involved.

What does it mean to be a part of the “Bearcat Family?”The Bearcat Family means we all are a part of the same team.  Whether you graduated in 1968 or are new freshman in 2011, we all are proud to be Bearcats.  On campus, the staff, faculty and administration all want one thing: students to success.  Whether it is leading an organization, getting the grade or finding a job, Northwest is dedicated to providing each student with the tools to achieve success.  From the day you walk on campus to the day you leave, you are part of the family!
