Outlook Live provides many  features aside from emailing. The main focus of this newsletter will be using the Calendar. Using the calendar is a good way to remain organized and create a schedule that works for you. To view your calendar you can simply click the calender tab towards the bottom left of Outlook Live. To get your calendar started it would be beneficial to first enter your class schedule. By selecting the “Week” tab in the “arrange” category you can view your calendar in a weekly format, which allows you to view your whole week on one screen. To enter your information, double click on the start time of the class you want to enter. An Untitled-Appointment screen will appear. Enter in the subject (Example: Calculus II, Biology), and then using the drop down menus, select the time your class starts and ends. If your class appears multiple times each week, select the “Recurrence” button. In this window, check the days of the week your class occurs and then choose an end by date (December 16th is the final day of class). This is a quick and easy way to enter your class information once, and then copy it to various other days of the week. Using the Outlook Live calendar keeps you organized, can help improve grades, and help reduce stress.
