A new twist to an old favorite.

If you have ever used an iPhone, you know how much nicer it would be to have a background other than the lock screen. Or how much of a pain it is to have ten pages of applications (apps) to look through to find what you are looking for. Apple has gone and changed that for us with the new iOS 4.0 software update. The 4.0 software revolutionizes the iPhone and what we are able to do with it.

The 4.0 update changes most everything on the phone that owners wanted done. The update has given users the flexibility to customize the backgrounds on the screen behind the applications and not just on the lock screen. Also, it allows users to make folders by putting ones with similar criteria together and slimming down how many pages of apps are on the phone. Users are now able to go from having five pages of apps to barely having two pages with the new folders option. Another change that came with the new software is the ability to multitask. By double-tapping the home button, all open apps appear at the bottom of the screen and users are able to toggle between them; this feature resembles a real computer.

The iPhone changes are just a few of many that have been done with the new 4.0 update. For more of information on the updates, click here.
